My husband and I have 2 toddlers and a baby. We started our backyard homestead last year in 2022 and are completely hooked on this lifestyle.
We have 20 chickens and are about to get 15 more! and 2 German Shepherds.

I love learning to make things from scratch - homemade and homegrown as much as possible.
I'm a first generation homesteader. My husband grew up helping with a family dairy farm and has more experience with this lifestyle than me, but you can learn (and laugh) along with me.
In this space I'm sharing our journey with 3 kids under 3 as we build our dream life. We may be starting small, but we have big plans and I can't wait for you to join us for the ride. For now it's chickens, a garden, flowers, and vanilla. For future: buying land, building a house, getting pigs and cows, and bees!
